...because I have to write, because I don't want to forget what I have to say (which I may likely never say otherwise), and because it really is therapeutic in a sense. I didn't mean it in the sense of a homeless person's cardboard sign, though that is an interesting thought...

New Car
So. We bought my old Honda (a 95 Accord) really cheap, and it turned out to be a lemon. We had to fix/replace several big things, and even after that it was still having problems. In the last 48 hours Adrian has taken to calling that car "the crap-mobile." So, he decided we were getting another car, that it would be much newer, and that it would have warranty. A local dealer (like, REALLY local - < 1 mile from our house) had a 2006 White Nissan Sentra with ~21k miles on it for a pretty good price, actually. We traded in my Accord for more than we thought we could, and now the crap-mobile is history. The only thing I really miss about it is the sun roof (which I really didn't use all that often), and my bumper stickers (one for Ron Paul and one that said "You are likely to be eaten by a grue...").
Anyway, here's me with the new car (Rachel, that's the outfit I told you about last month - top: DEB clearance ~$4, skirt: Goodwill $2.80):
